140 Characters of Fame: The Most Liked Tweets Ever It doesn’t take a long story to become popular on Twitter. Short news, reports, wishes, or announcements fit in well, and if they resonate with what people feel, they harvest millions of reactions. Now, let’s take a look at the most popular tweets in history and at their authors (as for November 2021). Chadwick Boseman Or rather Chadwick Boseman’s family, because this tweet was posted right after his untimely demise. While most comments show grief and appreciation for the actor’s talent, some are just inappropriate jokes. Barack Obama The most popular American politician on Twitter left a tweet that really deserves attention, even though his tenure is long over (looking at someone who’s not on Twitter anymore, see?) Another one was posted long after again, after the accident that took Koby Bryant’s life. Andy Milonakis A popular streamer and actor congratulated the astronauts who set off on May 30, just when the lockdowns and the COVID-19 hysteria were on their highest. That’s a good example of a COVID-19-related joke that doesn’t even mention the subject. Macaulay Culkin What can make a former star kid famous again? Just one tweet with a good dose of self-irony. Yes, it does make you feel old to realize this kid from Home Alone is now forty (forty-one, to be exact). But his wit remains young and stingy. BTS We decided not to differentiate between tweets by various BTS members, because they use a joint account as a band. The most popular K-pop act has 19 out of 30 most popular tweets now, posted by various members – mostly Jungkook and V, but also Jimin, Suga, Jin, J-Hope, and RM. It’s not necessarily a message to the fans or a new song announce: just a selfie of an idol is enough to make it to Top 30. Melaneee It’s always great to know that someone has overcome cancer. Melaneee is indeed only famous for her long fight with cancer, but this victory deserves to be well celebrated. Twitter It’s enough to say hello to everyone if you are the host of the party. So it happened with a tweet by the official account of Twitter itself. You And which of these tweets made you react? Or maybe there were other popular tweets that you consider worth mentioning? What do you think about persons that could have made it to this list? Let’s discuss it in the comments!

10 Best Missions Throughout the GTA Series The recent release of GTA: The Trilogy revived the interest to this iconic series that hasn’t had new major titles since 2013. Nevertheless, newcomers still discover these games, try living that criminal life under various characters, and explore new adventures. We have collected 10 best missions throughout the series. Breaking the Bank at Caligula's (GTA San Andreas) It’s a heist mission, one of the most memorable in the series. Long preparation, fantastic equipment including night goggles, parachutes, and smoke bombs, and irony all the way. Caida Libre (GTA V) What about killing a dangerous witness by attacking the plane while he’s on board? It’s just the beginning of a dynamic adventure with an unexpected ending. Phnom Penh 86 (GTA Vice City) Destroy some gang members, get the money from them, and return to the client. Simple? Yes, but it involves a helicopter ride and some roof jumping. The Holland Play (GTA IV) This is one of the missions you cannot play just once. Will your Niko kill Playboy X for Dwayne, or vice versa? The two completely different endings Supply Lines (GTA San Andreas) Here CJ uses a small RC plane to stop Barkley’s couriers. And it’s one of the most unusual missions in the whole series. Minor Turbulence (GTA V) This is where GTA goes Grand Theft Avia. Your mission is to get inside one plane on another to hijack it! An adventure played by Philips. Trevor Philips. End of the Line (GTA San Andreas) The finale of the game takes all the things we love the game for, from massive shootouts to driving a tank, with lots of fire, explosions, and casualties. The Big Score (GTA V) It’s the final heist mission in the story, and it takes a lot of preparations – something similar to Breaking the Bank at Caligula's, but on a larger-than-life scale. Friend Request (GTA V) One of the funniest episodes in the entire saga, where Michael disguised as a programmer sets up an explosive to kill the founder of a big IT company. Keep Your Friends Close (GTA Vice City) The final showdown of the game, where enemies come to you, friends betray you, and blood is bad for costumes. But the thing about it is how cinematically it’s made. Your Favorite Mission (Your Favorite Installment) Given how many great missions each of these games contains, it’s hard to choose the universally loved ones. Which is your favorite one, and which installment is it from? Drop some names in the comments, if you wish!

Will Apple Appeal the Antitrust Ruling? The story of the conflict between Apple and Epic Games continues. At the moment, Apple is still unsure whether they will appeal the recent antitrust ruling in the case against Epic, as stated by the company. The team representing Apple admitted to evaluating the different legal options they have but they haven’t yet made a final decision. Epic, on the contrary, has made it clear that they want to appeal. Just last week, 10 claims made by Epic have been dismissed by Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers. One of the most prominent claims would have made Apple allow the work of third-party payment processors and app stores. Instead, the judge ordered Epic Games to pay for the breach of the developer contract. Also, Apple now may choose to stop the work of accounts affiliated with Epic and they don’t have to bring Fortnite back to the App Store. At the moment, the team of Apple hasn’t made it clear whether they will decide to ban any applications besides Fortnite. In 2020, Epic stated that Apple may stop supporting Unreal Engine on their platform, which has become the core conflict between the two companies. While this is something that may happen now, Apple also mentioned that they will take Fortnite back if Epic removes in-app purchases that are not related to Apple from the game. Despite Apple winning the majority of claims, the anti-steering rules are still considered violated within the Unfair Competition Law in California. Now, a court order requires the company to allow developers to provide alternate payment services outside of their apps. However, they still have to use the in-app purchase system of Apple. What do you think about this controversial situation? Please, share your thoughts on this topic in the comments below!

WhatsApp Tests Their Time Limit Settings for the Disappearing Mode The team of WhatsApp is currently working on their Disappearing Mode feature in the app and they reportedly started testing different timing options for users to choose from. Similar to many other updates, the information comes from WABetaInfo that specializes in tracking WhatsApp features. The company hasn’t yet made any announcements regarding its feature and its time settings, so there are no details as to when it will be available for everyone using the app on Android and iOS devices. The testing of the feature is part of the 2.21.19.7 WhatsApp beta for Android and the screenshot taken by WABetaInfo suggests that the timer function will be available in the Privacy settings of WhatsApp. At the moment, the Disappearing Mode deletes messages after seven days. With the update, it will be possible to choose the time frame for messages in the Disappearing Mode, including 24 hours, 7 days, and 90 days. When you enable a timer on messages, they will be automatically deleted according to the selected time. If you don’t want to use this function, you can simply turn it off. The team of WhatsApp continues to improve the app by adding more useful features. Besides the mentioned update, there are reports that WhatsApp is also testing voice message transcription for iOS devices. This feature is supposed to be available for iPhone and Android smartphones in the future. As of today, WhatsApp users have to resort to third-party applications to use this tool. Is WhatsApp your go-to messaging app? What do you think about the timer feature? Share your thoughts on the upcoming update of the Disappearing messages feature in the comments below!

WhatsApp Dropping Old Phone Support By The End of 2020 This December, WhatsApp, the most popular messenger in the world, will lose some part of its popularity. The service will stop working on millions of devices all over the world; luckily, you probably have brought it to your attic long ago even if you still own one. The matter is that these devices got both old and obsolete, so WhatsApp cannot grant they will support all the updates and new features the service is to introduce. The Time is Now It’s been announced that on December 31, 2020, WhatsApp will drop support of entire generations of devices. The excluded ones will include (pun unintended) all the Windows Mobile or Windows Phone devices, even those manufactured in 2015 (like Lumia 650, only released in early 2016). The genocide will also affect old iPhones that didn’t get iOS 7 (that is, iPhone 3GS and earlier), and Android devices with 2.3.7 or earlier version. These phones, though, will be cut off on February 1, 2020. If you decide to upgrade, you’ll benefit from the updated WhatsApp as well. For example, the developers are now working to introduce the native dark mode on both iOS and Android versions. Automatic switching will activate the dark mode as your battery runs low. Other new features (like documents support or a built-in YouTube video player) are added constantly. Drop the Tail So, if you had your reasons (material or sentimental) to remain with these antique devices until 2020, WhatsApp isn’t one anymore. When the support is stopped, any moment you won’t be able to communicate with apps installed on them. The app will remain on the phone (or tablet), but won’t be able to connect to servers. That also means that it won’t let its owner create a new account or verify an old one. The moment the app is actually scheduled to disconnect is not specified, but it can come at any time. This way, WhatsApp leaves no choice but upgrade for the owners of these dinosaurs. It’s a special sort of showing off when you flash your old iPhone 3G (before it was mainstream!), but it’s no more compatible with modern messaging. The company operated by Facebook explains that it doesn’t develop for the obsolete OS, so further functioning is not granted since the announcement. The Ones Left Behind It’s not the first tail of devices dropped by WhatsApp. The history looks like a cemetery of platforms and operating systems. In June 2017, it dropped support for Symbian S60 (most famous on Nokia smartphones). In December 2017 it left Blackberry OS and BlackBerry 10. The last day of 2018 became the last day of support for S40 (most famous on Nokia feature phones). On December 31, 2020, Windows Phone will join this list. If you own an old iPhone, well, at least you can think it’s an iPod and use it for listening to the music (to save battery of your actual phone). On Windows Phone, it’s even more of a problem to find it a decent use case. It’s easier on Android, due to tons of unofficial apps and patches that turn your phone to anything, from a stand watch to a remote control device. But WhatsApp is not among them. Do you still have an old phone not capable of running WhatsApp anymore? What do you use it for (if you do)? Was it WhatsApp that motivated you to upgrade to your current phone? Tell us what you think about it.

Yes, Your Grace Expected Release Announced Yes, your Grace is a beautiful pixel art game, and its Kickstarter campaign started in late 2014. After years of silence, it reappears, and it’s changed. With the recent release of its trailer, a beta version of the game is scheduled in November this year with a full release expected in 2020. It will be available for PC first, and later for Xbox One and Switch. Its developer Brave at Night just released a slew of updates highlighting No More Robots will be the part of the game as a publisher. Its Scope has Changed Originally kickstarted for merely £7000, people bought the interesting pitch by the game’s creator Rafał Bryks. But he missed his deadline and slowly the money ran out. Bryks had to get a job, and the project languished. Due to contractual reasons, he could not explain the situation to his backers, and the briefings dried up in 2016. He only broke his silence this summer with an apology post offering refunds to those who wanted it. To his surprise, very few people asked for that. Bryks was able to build a demo, and he pitched it to No More Robots, and finally, Yes, Your Grace re-emerges now. It is a kingdom management game where you will play the role of a medieval king and father of a royal family. The latest trailer shows some of the things the king will do when the kingdom is under attack. Initially, it was pitched as a sprawling game with a huge world and RPG systems, and players would spend many hours playing it. It has changed to a 6-8 hours story with an ending that depends on your choices as a king. Launching Early 2020 If you think playing the King Eryk in the kingdom of Davern is more work than play, check out the latest heavy-metal infused promo showing why players are gonna have lots of fun. The fight with enemies is entwined with lighthearted scenes and cute discussions. As a king, you would definitely need to listen to the cries of your citizens, but the game also boasts a compelling and quirky narrative.

Hundreds of vehicles, all types of terrains, and ultimate visuals are at your service!  9. It allows you to find the place you need, even for business, get vital actual and current information about its location, directions, exact opening times, and busy times. You can learn approximate time needed to get to any place and receive a review on business or café, informing of the level of service. There is a voice application, which is useful when you are driving. All the options are performed quickly and accurately. It is very convenient to use on the go. It is built into many preinstalled operating systems, and plenty of companies prefer it. New features Soon, using Google Maps, you will be able to pull up your flight reservation or hotel booking. The app is available even when you do not have access to the Internet. This option is perfect for travelers. Also, you will export a list of any venues including restaurants which you have visited by the current moment if you want to share information with friends. We should be ready for expanded augmented reality walking navigation, which allows you to find the best way to the destination with the use of a phone camera only. This splendid Live View feature has already been tested. You will be able to apply it on devices supporting augmented reality graphics. In addition, the discovery tools of Maps will be expanded. The company promises that the Maps will recommend the most popular dishes in the menu and deliver the options for direct placement of the orders right from the app. Even more useful The coming options are definitely intended to attract more users and provide more useful information. We do remember that at the beginning of this summer, the development told us about new tools to help users during a crisis or natural disaster. Of course, the announced features show how much Google is able to access its users’ personal data. It will manage your travel bookings getting information about you from web history and Gmail receipts.
